Marcelo Roascio is an argentine guitar player, producer, educator and
clinician. During his career, Roascio played and recorded with several bands,
including Dr.Rock, Engranaje, Los Arcontes, etc. He also worked as a studio
musician doing recordings for comercials and solo artists.
He performs regularly with his instrumental band "Roascio RCM", having released
to this date the CDs "Espias" (Spies), "Dos de tres" (Two
of three), "Todo en un dia” (All in a day), and recently “En el lugar
justo” (In the right place).
His latest record features bassist extraordinaire Stuart Hamm
(Satriani, Vai, Gambale), guitarist/producer Vernon Neilly (Greg Howe, Kiko
Luireiro), and Walter Giardino (guitar player for latin hard-rock band Rata
Blanca).
Marcelo Roascio also does educational and products clinics all over the country. He worked with
the likes of Tosin Abasi, Nita Strauss, Gregg Bisonette, Marc Cooper, Nico
McBrain, Steve Morse, Marty Friedman, etc. Roascio wrote more than fifteen instructional books with audio for guitar, serves
as editor in chief for "Todo Guitarra y Bajo" magazine, and has an
Q&A column on "El rincon del guitarrista" (GuitarraOnline.com.ar)
website.
