Born in São Paulo, Cauê Cury began his musical studies in 1986, when he was 10 years old, studying guitar with maestro Marcos Araújo. In 1986, he won his father's first guitar gift and began to share some lessons with his sister. Between 1986 and 1993, he devoted himself almost entirely to the study of guitar, during which he had as main teachers Michel Perié and Juninho Afram.
In 1991, he formed the Banda Candelabro, which during the 90s was quite successful in the national gospel scene, playing in major festivals. In 2004, they recorded their first album, titled "Candelabro".
In 2009, he recorded his first solo album "Perfect Time", which had excellent acceptance by the specialized media. Currently, in addition to his intense work as a teacher, he has taught workshops all over Brazil and also worked as a sideman for Nando Cordel and Tribo Cordel.
